I am beginning a meditation through the Book of Psalms. This could take a while.
Blessed is the one
who does not walk in step with the wicked
or stand in the way that sinners take
or sit in the company of mockers, Psalm 1:1,12

The morning got away from me and honestly I had a spiritual block I had to pray through… so no meditation this morning. This afternoon however lots to think about now that I know where I was blocked.
I am beginning a meditation through the Psalms. This should be fun! Let’s begin.
Blessed is the one
who does not walk in step with the wicked Psm. 1:1
In our meditations here at Lillie-Put we have just worked through I Corinthians 13:4-8. As we were working through the daily thoughts it came to me that perhaps it was time to revisit a study I did on this topic several years ago.
Here is part one of the study called FEROCIOUS.

P.S. don’t mind the notes about the Netherlands. This was last posted back when I was on a trip to that beautiful country. This year I am going nowhere. I am paying my taxes instead. 😦
We are deep into our 30 plus 1 days of praise! Still, It is not too late to join in and build up the name of Jesus with us! Here is how it works! Everyday for the rest of the month of May find a praise song and post it on your blog or Facebook account. Let’s light up the blogosphere with praises to Christ! Then link back to this post so we all know we are supporting each other in His praise. Who will join me?

This post is a continuation of our meditations on 1 Corinthians 13. Our evening question is directly connected to the question from our MID AFTERNOON MEDITATION TODAY.
If I speak in the tongues[a] of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast,[b] but do not have love, I gain nothing.
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8 Love never fails. 1 Cor. 13:1-8

Here is your Scripture and question to meditate on for the afternoon.
1 Cor. 13:1-8

I am looking for your thoughts on this.
