Lead me in the right path, O Lord,
or my enemies will conquer me.
Make your way plain for me to follow. Psalm 5:8

In answer to some of the questions I posed in our recent meditations on I Cor. 13 I am sharing this series I wrote a few years ago. I know I still have some of you dangling on the line regarding our study through the book of Romans (THE ROAD THROUGH ROMANS). I assure you we will get back to that in a bit. Right now I have to carry through with this series for some reason. Maybe that reason is you. If so share a thought or two about that.

Because of your unfailing love, I can enter your house;
I will worship at your Temple with deepest awe. Psalm 5:7

O God, you take no pleasure in wickedness;
you cannot tolerate the sins of the wicked.
5 Therefore, the proud may not stand in your presence,
for you hate all who do evil.
6 You will destroy those who tell lies.
The Lord detests murderers and deceivers. Psalm 5:4-5

Listen to my voice in the morning, Lord.
Each morning I bring my requests to you and wait expectantly. Psalm 5:3
A few weeks ago we finished up a meditation on I Corinthians 13. In response to many of those meditation I am reposting a series on “The Love Chapter” I wrote several years ago called Ferocious. The love of God is truly ferocious.

O Lord, hear me as I pray;
pay attention to my groaning.
2 Listen to my cry for help, my King and my God,
for I pray to no one but you. Psalm 5:1-2

O Lord, hear me as I pray;
pay attention to my groaning.
2 Listen to my cry for help, my King and my God,
for I pray to no one but you. Psalm 5:1-2

Many people say, “Who will show us better times?”
Let your face smile on us, Lord.
7 You have given me greater joy
than those who have abundant harvests of grain and new wine.
8 In peace I will lie down and sleep,
for you alone, O Lord, will keep me safe. Psalm 4:6-8
