The Lord examines the righteous,
    but the wicked, those who love violence,
    he hates with a passion. PSalm 11:5

How does a God of love hate with a passion? What would cause Him to react so violently?

The Lord is in his holy temple;
    the Lord is on his heavenly throne.
He observes everyone on earth;
    his eyes examine them. Psalm 11:4
