Mid Afternoon Meditation 6-12-16

Lord, see how my enemies persecute me!
    Have mercy and lift me up from the gates of death,
14 that I may declare your praises
    in the gates of Daughter Zion,
    and there rejoice in your salvation. Psalm 9:13,14

Verse 14 speaks about publicly praising God for His salvation. How are you doing in the act of public worship?

Evening Meditation 6-11-16

Sing the praises of the Lord, enthroned in Zion;
    proclaim among the nations what he has done.
12 For he who avenges blood remembers;
    he does not ignore the cries of the afflicted. Psalm 9:11,12

The truth is the Lord never ignore our cries in affliction. Do you ever feel He does? What in you causes that?

Evening Meditation 6-9-16

You have rebuked the nations and destroyed the wicked;
    you have blotted out their name for ever and ever.
Endless ruin has overtaken my enemies,
    you have uprooted their cities;
    even the memory of them has perished. Psalm 9:5,6

Has this happened yet? Do you think the writer is speaking prophetically or of an event in his life or both? If this is prophecy what does it mean for the future and how far off do you think this rebuke is?
