and I will live in the house of the Lord
    forever. Psalm 23:6

What thoughts come to your mind as you think of the word “forever”?

and I will live in the house of the Lord
    forever. Psalm 23:6

What images does living in the house of the Lord evoke?

Wow! It seems like forever since I have had a moment to write! I have been away at a leadership training. Man! Is my brain full. I didn’t think it possible to have so much information and experience crammed into one twenty four hour period!

Here is my meditation on Psalm 23 for this evening.

Surely your goodness and love will follow me
    all the days of my life, Psalm 23:6

Does hearing that His goodness and love have been following you today redefine how you perceive the events of the last twenty four hours? How?

Surely your goodness and love will follow me
    all the days of my life, Psalm 23:6

What does life look like when love is following you?

Surely your goodness and love will follow me
    all the days of my life, Psalm 23:6

What does life look like when goodness follows you around?

You anoint my head with oil;
    my cup overflows. Psalm 23:5

Do you see your cup overflowing? If not what has to change in order for you to consider your cup as overflowing?

You anoint my head with oil;
    my cup overflows. Psalm 23:5

What does it mean to have your cup overflow?

You anoint my head with oil;
    my cup overflows. Psalm 23:5

How many times a day do you think of your anointing? Does that speak to its importance in your life?

You anoint my head with oil;
    my cup overflows. Psalm 23:5

What does anointing mean to you?

You prepare a table before me
    in the presence of my enemies. Psalm 23:5

Think of your enemies. Do you see yourself being blessed in their presence. What does God have to do for that blessing to be seen by you in the presence of your enemies?
