One Word Photo Challenge: Autumn

Jennifer has challenged us to show our readers autumn with our photos.

You can see lots of fallish photos by clicking the link above.

Here in New England we just passed Columbus Day (which in Massachusets is a statewide day off). It is one of the last days for outdoor activity here in the North East from here on out we are preparing for and expecting winter.

That being said, Amanda (my oldest daughter) , Brenda (my sister) and I took a ride north to do the quintessential Yankee activity on Columbus Day. We went leaf-peeping.

One Word Photo Challenge: Taupe

The color Jennifer has asked us to find this week is: TAUPE

Years ago a friend of mine was accepted on a tour of an international singing group. As part of his wardrobe for the road he had to buy a pair of taupe loafers. He looked everywhere. I guess taupe just wasn’t in that year.

Is this taupe? I’m thinking nope.

How ’bout this?

The days of having little children running around the house are long gone.

A real near miss!

A Cup of beer?

That’s it I fear.

One Word Photo Challenge: Eminence and the Color Is Purple!

This is a new challenge for me and always as I dive in I am a bit nervous hoping I am doing it right. Jennifer has asked us to show the theme eminence using the color purple.

Eminence is…fame or recognized superiority, especially within a particular sphere or profession:  or a piece of rising ground
