Snow flutters at last in WInchendon MA. We have had precious little snow this season and we desperately need the moisture.

I didn’t find him, but my daughter did, thank goodness. It is getting cold out there!

My Daily Walk 2-9-16

Today is turning out to be a full day of meetings and paperwork. But I am determined not to miss my daily walk.  I may not be able to go into town for a jaunt but nothing is stopping me from 20 minutes of laps around the church parking lot.

Here are some photos from my laps around the lot.

Festival Of Leaves Week #7

image

Well this was taken with my phone and it’s not really clear but it is vibrant. I love the oranges this year. Some years they just don’t pop as well and if you were really close to this tree you would see it isn’t really orange but spots of yellow and red  that from a distance blend to look orange.

One Word Photo Challenge: Autumn

Jennifer has challenged us to show our readers autumn with our photos.

You can see lots of fallish photos by clicking the link above.

Here in New England we just passed Columbus Day (which in Massachusets is a statewide day off). It is one of the last days for outdoor activity here in the North East from here on out we are preparing for and expecting winter.

That being said, Amanda (my oldest daughter) , Brenda (my sister) and I took a ride north to do the quintessential Yankee activity on Columbus Day. We went leaf-peeping.
