Tehillah Tuesday 7-12-16

I know this is not technically a praise song and that this post is usually dedicated strictly to praise but this is something God’s people must do if there is to be hope at all

“When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people, 14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humblethemselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 15 Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place. II Chronicles 7:13-15

‘This is what the Lord says: I am against you. I will draw my sword from its sheath and cut off from you both the righteous and the wicked. 4 Because I am going to cut off the righteous and the wicked, my sword will be unsheathed against everyone from south to north. 5 Then all people will know that I the Lordhave drawn my sword from its sheath; it will not return again.’ Ezekiel 21:3-5

Much has been said about judgment coming upon our nation. How does this view inform or change your consideration of that judgment.
