I am happy there are young people taking up the call to worship. This is One Desire the worship band that played at our outdoor art show.
The Daily Post has asked us to display pictures with that little something extra in them
Like a red dot in a blue sky: I caught this fleeing balloon just before it went out of sight!
And this little fellow obliged me with a quick snapshot.

If you hope for happiness in the world, hope for it from God, and not from the world.
I am happy that in spite of the chilly weather (only in the 50’s) the summer flowers are beginning to bloom!
This post was prepared for Cee’s Share Your World Challenge at

Head on over when your done here. I am quite sure you will find some very interesting answers to her questions there!
Here are my answers:
Would your rather be stuck in a small plane with mild turbulence for 2 hours or be a passenger in a car racing the Daytona 500?
I think either would be quite fun. However I have done the small plane turbulence thing so I choose the car race as it would be a new experience.
Would you rather be alone with nobody in the vicinity for one month or never be alone not even for a minute for one month?
Oh my goodness never being alone for a month sounds like somebody’s version of Hell (Oh yeah mine).
Would you like to sleep in a human size nest in a tree or be snuggled in a burrowed spot underground?
Oooo a burrow please. It would make me feel like a Hobbit.
In a car would you rather drive or be a passenger?
I like being driven. Not that that ever happens mind you but I like to be a passenger (or at least I use to)
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
I am grateful for so many things you can find a few of them here:
And I am really looking forward to C.cada’s open air art show coming up this weekend and you can read more about that here:

I am so glad I got to take my mom and my daughter, Amanda, to the Moving Wall last week. It was a somber experience but a memory worth having. And we all got Banana Splits afterwards! 🙂

Just a note the home page for the wall is currently without a webmaster so you may have trouble loading that.

The black locust is in bloom filling the evenings with the scent of jasmine and grapes. How could anyone not be happy with the scent of Heaven filling the yard?
