Sacred Sundays is all about going back to the roots of our worship and nothing is more deeply rooted in our ancient traditions than the “Alleluia!” Here is a new version of the ancient Alleluia.
Every Friday I take a few moments here at Lillie-Put to remind myself and others about the faithfulness of God. I also take this moment to recollect that I am totally reliant upon that faithfulness. Without it I would surely fall to pieces.
Here we are. Another Monday and another opportunity to praise Jesus! He is my beloved and as it says in the Song of Solomon I am my Beloveds and He is mine. His banner over me is love!
I am at a prayer service on the Worcester County Courthouse steps today. May God have mercy on our nation!
Hebrews 12: 25-29 reads,
See to it that you do not refuse him who speaks. If they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, how much less will we, if we turn away from him who warns us from heaven?26 At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.”[e]27 The words “once more” indicate the removing of what can be shaken—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain.
28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe,29 for our “God is a consuming fire.”[f]
It is time for the church to noise abroad that the time of shaking has come and we must hold fast to faith!

God is so faithful and is worthy of all praise. He is God alone. Faithful Fridays is one of seven posts here at Lillie-Put that declare the great worth of the Lord Jesus Christ. Feel free to add a link to your own praise post in the comments section below.
I am so thankful for the presence of God in my life. I am thankful for His increase. How about you? I know this song is a little longer than I usually post but let me encourage you to spend some extra time in the glory this morning. We all desperately need it!
