Some questions to send you on your way this morning!

If I speak in the tongues[a] of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast,[b] but do not have love, I gain nothing.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails. 1 Cor. 13:1-8

What can you do to strengthen your grip on the grace of God (persevere) today?

Good morning saints! Here is something to think on as you start your day.

1 Cor. 13:1-8

Describe trust in a few words.

Here is tonight’s thought trail from Scripture:

If I speak in the tongues[a] of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast,[b] but do not have love, I gain nothing.

1 Cor. 13:1-8

How is God calling me to protect the ones I love? How can I do that better?

Here is what I am trying to discover this morning,

If I speak in the tongues[a] of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast,[b] but do not have love, I gain nothing.

Love never fails. 1 Cor. 13:1-8

What truth from God’s Word is God calling me to rejoice about today?

Tonight I am focused on finding the answer to this question.

1 Cor. 13:1-8

Where in my life am I still delighting in evil?

I was up reading most of the night and got going a little late this morning; So I was unable to post my morning direction from Scripture. Here is what I have been dwelling on.

1 Cor. 13:1-8

In just a few words describe “love…does not dishonor others.”
