How often do you hear God’s voice in the night?

Portion of what?

Those who run after other gods will suffer more and more.
    I will not pour out libations of blood to such gods
    or take up their names on my lips. Psalm 16:4

Most of us don’t participate in blood offering to idols these days but what do we give our blood, sweat and tears to? Is that thing or person an idol of sorts?

I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord;
    apart from you I have no good thing.”
