Evening Meditation 10-29-17

Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.

20 He that is our God is the God of salvation; and unto God the Lord belong the issues from death.

21 But God shall wound the head of his enemies, and the hairy scalp of such an one as goeth on still in his trespasses.

22 The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring my people again from the depths of the sea:

23 That thy foot may be dipped in the blood of thine enemies, and the tongue of thy dogs in the same. Psalm 68:19-23

What does it mean to be loaded with benefits?

Mid Afternoon Meditation 10-29-17

23 That thy foot may be dipped in the blood of thine enemies, and the tongue of thy dogs in the same. Psalm 68: 19-23

How do we bless the Lord?

Surrounded by unnumbered thousands of chariots,
the Lord came from Mount Sinai into his sanctuary.
18 When you ascended to the heights,
you led a crowd of captives.
You received gifts from the people,
even from those who rebelled against you.
Now the Lord God will live among us there. Psalm 68:17,18

What are the gifts from the people?

Ephesians 4: 7 when quoting this verse says,“When he ascended to the heights,
he led a crowd of captives
and gave gifts to his people.”

Look at verse 18, How do you harmonize those two verses?

hint look at the KJV translation.
