I am a little later than usual today….sorry jet lag is still hitting me hard. When sleep hits it hits without notice.

This stein came back from Germany with my father in the early 60’s

This is gramma’s cookie jar. It sat in her house in Orange MA until we inherited it and it came to the Vicarage some 25 years ago.
The next several posts will display some of the bric-a-brac the vicarage has gathered over the last three generations.

One of the goals of this challenge is to share my home with you, along with all of its changes throughout the course of the year. The Vicarage (that’s my house’s name) is an old New England cottage which needs lots of updating. This year my sister, my daughter and I are committing to do a lot of that updating. As we put Christmas away we are getting ready to transform our dining room into a first floor bedroom for my mother. She is no particularly happy about any of this but she really needs a bed on the first floor as she seldom is willing to do the stairs anymore.
