A Sword Swung With Love
This came to mind as I listened to our church’e discussion/sermon from yesterday.
Creativity must become more than a shield we hide behind when things get tough, more than an escape or a place to hide. Creativity must become a sword by which we slay all the hatreds, petty and awesome, in our hearts first and then the world. Our creativity, then, must be a sword swung with love.-J. Lillie

Truth and Consequences
FOTD-June 1st
Happy June everyone! This post is created in response to CEE’S FLOWER OF THE DAY CHALLENGE FOR JUNE 1ST 2020.

Mid Afternoon Meditation 6-1-20

HE
33 Teach me, Lord, the way of your decrees,
that I may follow it to the end.[b]
34 Give me understanding, so that I may keep your law
and obey it with all my heart.
35 Direct me in the path of your commands,
for there I find delight.
36 Turn my heart toward your statutes
and not toward selfish gain.
37 Turn my eyes away from worthless things;
preserve my life according to your word.[c]
38 Fulfill your promise to your servant,
so that you may be feared.
39 Take away the disgrace I dread,
for your laws are good.
40 How I long for your precepts!
In your righteousness preserve my life. Psalm 119:33-40
How does understanding make you a better person?
