Share Your World From 6-15-20

I am super late to the challenge this week. But here I am SHARING MY WORLD.

Below are my answers to Melanie’s challenge questions. When you have done reading my answers to Melanie’s questions please click the link above and go to “Sparks From A Combustible Mind” and see how others have shared their worlds.

What do you think of professional motivational speakers?  Do you think they motivate?

I think it depends on the motivational speaker. I have found some speakers pretty motivational and genuinely compassionate. I have found others to be in it only to motivate the cash right out of my pocket.

Do you have a favorite flavor?

I love the taste of chocolate and orange together.

While out walking, you hear a rustling in some bushes.  What do you think of?

It depends on the size of the rustle.

What’s your ideal temperature (nature-wise)?   Hot, cold, temperate and mild, humid or bone dry?

I like the heat and the shade.

FINALLY I LIKED THIS BIT MELANIE SHARED IN HER ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE SECTION SO MUCH I SHARED IT OUT TO YOU.

Attitude of Gratitude

I thought I’d share something beautiful today instead of putting y’all on the spot to share.    It’s still totally cool if you’d like to share, of course!   😀

You can either click the link to read B.O.B’s really short tribute to Harriet Beecher Stowe or you can listen to the lovely poem set to music.   The images shown during the clip are very VERY relaxing.     Thanks B.O.B.

Evening Meditation 6-21-20

SAMEKH

113 I hate double-minded people,
    but I love your law.
114 You are my refuge and my shield;
    I have put my hope in your word.
115 Away from me, you evildoers,
    that I may keep the commands of my God!
116 Sustain me, my God, according to your promise, and I will live;
    do not let my hopes be dashed.
117 Uphold me, and I will be delivered;
    I will always have regard for your decrees.
118 You reject all who stray from your decrees,
    for their delusions come to nothing.
119 All the wicked of the earth you discard like dross;
    therefore I love your statutes.
120 My flesh trembles in fear of you;
    I stand in awe of your laws. Psalm 119:113-120

How do you keep evil influences from your life?

How is God being a shield different from God being a refuge?
