So today is actually day 8 but I got way behind because of the craziness of my weekend schedule and because of coming down with one humdinger of a cold that put me in bed for a solid day and is threatening to do so again. I am giving it one more day and then I will be heading to the doctor’s office.
Today, with this post I am answering THOUGHT PROVOKING QUESTION # 5 FROM A GUY CALLED A BLOKE.
Here is the question and my answer:
If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don’t like and like so many things we don’t do?

In my mind this question presupposes two things which I think are both false.
- Life is short.
Life is not short. It is infinite. This body may be ephemeral in the scope of eternity, but this body is only iteration number one for J. Lillie. One of my favorite sayings is “I have all the time in the world. I am immortal.”
2. Just because I don’t like it, it must be bad.
I don’t like lots of things I do that doesn’t mean that those things are not good things to do. I don’t particularly like exercise, but I see its value. I don’t particularly like taking time to keep track of my finances, but it is important that I do.

Interesting answers indeed Joseph – but that is the beauty of interpretation and reflection – nicely done 🙂
Thanks Rory and thanks for the reblog.
Pleasure Joseph – keep on keeping well my friend 🙂
I shall! Right back atcha!
