Let not those who seek You be confounded because of me, O God of Israel.
7 Because for Your sake I have borne reproach;
Shame has covered my face.
8 I have become a stranger to my brothers,
And an alien to my mother’s children;
9 Because zeal for Your house has eaten me up,
And the reproaches of those who reproach You have fallen on me. Psalm 69:6-9

This week we have been asked to SHOW EVERYONE WHAT WE WOULD RATHER BE DOING.
I love what I am doing right now…writing, and I do wish I could do more of it. That said I am not a very exciting person. I actually love to just sit and watch the world go by or pray through as it does. Here are some shots of where I would love to do that.

I could just sit and listen to the water fall for hours.

The quiet of a lake is an enticing place to pray, to write or to read.

You can forget the fast pace of life as the graceful mountains flow into the lake at Kylemore Abbey

If a distant uncle dies and you were always his favorite and leaves you $50,000 (any currency) in his will, what would you do?
I would use some of it towards my kids tuition bills for school and then do some projects around the house. I couldn’t get all of any of it paid, but I could get a little bit of a lot done.
What sound or sounds do you love?
Right now I am really loving the sound stylings of Ben Platt
What’s your middle name? Why?
My middle name is Elon which means “Oak tree”. It has been a middle name for many Lillie’s back at least 8 generations.
What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week? Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.
