It is even better to voice it out that “there is no God” so that we will know you are sick and know how to help you out. It is a pretense to profess there is God, and in your heart, you don’t believe him, you are a fool indeed, and your situation is worse than that of the former.
You are right. Honesty at least allows for the possibility of change. Self Deception is the worst form of prison because people are trapped in it and never even know.

That is the states of minds of many!
