I say to God my Rock,
“Why have you forgotten me?
Why must I go about mourning,
oppressed by the enemy?”
10My bones suffer mortal agony
as my foes taunt me,
saying to me all day long,
“Where is your God?” Psalm 42: 9,10
Where do you feel God is right now? Where is He really?

God is right here in the Valley of Achor with me–“feelings” are so transient, and in the shadows we have to stand still as best we can and hold firm to His Truth which never changes. He’s Emmanuel, He’s promised never to leave or let go of me–and I either have to choose to trust that He’ll lead me out, and into restored hope, joy, revelation–or give up and die. I’ve been in this pre-Easter Valley of Achor before–it’s painfully familiar and always feels “worse than before”, though it’s probably not. The enemy would LOVE to destroy Believers just prior to Resurrection Day, what a coup! So I have to Rest IN HIM, yet keep a little “feisty” going 🙂
Amen to that praying that the feisty grows feistier in you!
Thanks–it comes and goes 🙂
