High morals, authentic, life is centered around God first, family, church…
I think godliness is also a life of never giving up even when we face moral failures.
Oooh, I really like that, Pastor J–because it would be so easy, in shame, to do that. I’m remembering a specific instance now, when “the morning after”, the first person I called was my pastor…made all the difference in getting over it.
The truly righteous never stop getting up after falls no matter how much it hurts because our righteousness comes from God and is not dependent on our strength to maintain.
Oh yes, pour it on, Pastor J–I soak up all the reminders that everything comes from Him, including righteousness–and our strength to partner with Him in any good works, endeavors on His behalf.
