I’ll hazard a guess–an advocate pleads one’s cause, whereas a fight is “to do battle”. Jesus is our Advocate, and the Bible also says that our battles belong to the Lord–He fights for us. That’s all I’ve got, Pastor J…
That is really good. Jesus is both our advocate and our hero. He rescues us from the enemy and represents us before their accusations in the courtroom of Heaven. That is because we are both the accused and the captured.
AMEN!!!
PS–maybe it makes up for my poor response to the armor of God question…we can’t know Everything, right? 🙂
