The proud usually “just don’t get it”, from my experience.
It is true because they seldom even think to look for “it”.
I guess Jesus just has to give us all new eyes so we can see–from this distance of long years knowing Him, it’s hard to imagine how anyone could miss Him…but surely I must have for years…
With all the distractions the enemy has created missing the obvious is pretty easy.
Truly it is easy–I have to keep a sharp, though cataract-growing eye on the devil all the time, as he’s so dang tricky!
