He has never let me down. I haven’t always liked or agreed with His decisions, methods for drawing me closer to Him and saving me–but it’s like when someone’s drowning and they’re fighting the rescuing lifeguard, maybe the rescue won’t be entirely “gentle”…
I have gotten plenty of black eyes by struggling in situations God was trying to save me from.
It’s the pits, ain’t it? 🙂 But as long as we learn, we’re headed in the right direction–He’s patient, loving, never gives up on us.
