It doesn’t sound like anyone else’s; it can stop me in my tracks–or mid-thought (which is very cool); it’s recognizable as THE Good Good Father; it pretty much demands my response–even a “what?? are You serious? You mean, right now?” or “this isn’t working for me; I don’t think I can do that; this is the worst–I’m doomed!” There you go, Pastor–a sneak-listen into my day to day chats with God, my responses only 🙂
It sounds a lot like some of my conversations actually. As Jesus said “My sheep know my voice!”
