Here are the questions and my answers:

What is the most fun thing you did in school?

I loved so much about school. I loved English, and writing was one of the fun things I got to do a lot of. I also had a lot of fun in band, and I will always cherish my memories of tournament of plays.

What is your favorite type of dog?  (can be anything from a specific breed, a stuffed animal or character in a movie).

I love the smaller breeds. I have really fallen for the Maltese. Although keeping their fur and nails good is something of a chore.

You are invited to a party that will be attended by many fascinating people you never met.  Would you attend this party if you were to go by yourself?

Yes. I have learned to do most social things as a single now.

Complete this sentence:  Never In My Life Have I….

Wow! There are so many “nevers”. Never in my life have I jumped out of a plane. Never in my life have I bungie jumped. Never in my life have I been on a cruise. And never in my life have I desperately wanted to do any of those things. 🙂

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

I am grateful that I had the opportunity to read at a local poets gathering last Sunday. It was so much fun and I met so many fascinating people. I met someone I knew there; So no I guess I wasn’t alone.

This next week I am looking forward to  working some more on my the Genesis story of SOA.

Morning Direction From Scripture 6-14-16

100_6202

The Lord is known by his acts of justice;
    the wicked are ensnared by the work of their hands.[c]
17 The wicked go down to the realm of the dead,
    all the nations that forget God.
18 But God will never forget the needy;
    the hope of the afflicted will never perish. Psalm 9:16-18

Do you ever find it hard to remember that the wicked will not prosper forever? If so how could changing that perspective strengthen your faith?

Mid Afternoon Meditation 6-12-16

100_5189

Lord, see how my enemies persecute me!
    Have mercy and lift me up from the gates of death,
14 that I may declare your praises
    in the gates of Daughter Zion,
    and there rejoice in your salvation. Psalm 9:13,14

Verse 14 speaks about publicly praising God for His salvation. How are you doing in the act of public worship?

Evening Meditation 6-11-16

Sing the praises of the Lord, enthroned in Zion;
    proclaim among the nations what he has done.
12 For he who avenges blood remembers;
    he does not ignore the cries of the afflicted. Psalm 9:11,12

The truth is the Lord never ignore our cries in affliction. Do you ever feel He does? What in you causes that?
