You may remember that one of my New Year’s resolutions was that I would wear every tie I own at least once before the end of the year. Here is the next batch of ties I have dispensed with.
If I were a tie wearing individual, that one with the dove on it would have been a permanent part of my collection. However dated it might seem to the fashion police (do men have fashion police?) … it’s a lovely design. The others, well…I don’t notice men’s ties all that much unless they really stand out (like the basketball coach in my church – has one with little basketballs on it) or the guy with the 12 days of Christmas tie…that one was hilarious. But I salute you in your success in weeding out what is no longer needed. Someone else will no doubt find a treasure among them.
Thank you. I like the dove one myself. After I have worn them all once I am turning them over to my fashion cop…also known as my daughter to dispense with the ones she thinks I should never wear again. She has already expressed her dismay at a few of my choices.
