What is a laughable thing? Well it is something so big and beyond the scope of our imaginations that it makes us laugh for the sheer absurdity of the thing. The laughable thing is something we cannot do without God’s miraculous help. In fact the laughable thing is something that has its origins in God. It is not something we dream up because it is too big for us to dream. It is a word from God which challenges us to go beyond ourselves in ways that we would never dream.
