Check out Cee’s post to see what her other subscriber’s have said about whiteness!
“So all night long the storm roared on:
The morning broke without a sun;
In tiny spherule traced with lines
Of Nature’s geometric signs,
In starry flake, and pellicle,
All day the hoary meteor fell;
And, when the second morning shone,
We looked upon a world unknown,
On nothing we could call our own.
Around the glistening wonder bent
The blue walls of the firmament,
No cloud above, no earth below,—
A universe of sky and snow!”
― John Greenleaf Whittier, Complete poetical works
I have heard we have another foot of white coming on Monday. A universe of sky and snow indeed!

“Drowning In White ” is just about how I feel right now, Pastor J!
But the good news I hear is that we should be almost snow free from this storm!
Thank you, God!
I bet you will be glad to see some green where that white is now!!! Great photo!
I am so ready for green!
We were just now watching the deer walk the lawn trying to find some of that green to eat; and I was wishing for warmer weather to melt some of that white! Love the picture.
I was just noticing that the birds have just about finished off the rose hips on our property. If winter lasts much longer I am going to have to start a feeding program.
Pastor J, my husband went out and filled the feeders 3 times in one day. We decided the deer were watching for him, because within 5 minutes they were back, cleaning us out again! We finally had to stop filling all but the high hanging ones that the deer can’t reach. We have had as many as 12 deer in the lawn all at one time this year. Last year we had 18 at once, one afternoon.
Wow! That is incredible and I am sure very annoying…but incredible. Where we live in town we don’t get the deer but we have a pair of nesting cardinals.
