The Word of God is a bridge that connects Earth with Heaven and Heaven with Earth.- Joseph Elon Lillie
King Solomon was a builder. While David spent his entire reign fighting and establishing the kingdom, Solomon turned his considerable wealth towards the pursuit of building up what his father had won through warfare.

I love this one, Pastor J, “God’s Golden Cottage” Can’t wait for the grand tour. Here’s what I saw in these chapters.
I Kings 6
1. What have you furnished your temple with? I Kings 6:1-38

3. Is your temple ready for His presence? I Kings 6:37-38
I Kings 7
1. The Throne Room of Justice. I Kings 7:7
2. Have you been cleansed by the Sea of Bronze? I Kings 7:23-37

“What have you furnished your temple with?” What a probing question Deb! Are our temple furnishings the best we have to offer God or are they just the left overs…the cast-offs?
I like to think it is the best we have to offer God. I am also inclined to think that it is being refurnished by Him with each step in my spiritual journey.
Amen!
