Wow! Blogging this week has proven to be a difficult task, tantamount to cutting off my right arm! Finally I am getting a few moments to catch up on comments ( six days worth) and splatter a few words across the blogosphere. So forgive me if I seem a little scattered. I shall do my level best to stay on task here.
This week’s questions are great fun. Since they are not thematic in any way, shape or form they lend themselves nicely to my current mindset!
What was the last URL that you bookmarked?
My last book marked URL was http://artistdayapart.com/ that is C.cada’s new blog written by our main media man Ken Knowlton! You should totally check it out!…
Ahh I just turned on Whispering Piano station and am relaxing in the beautiful music. Oops getting distracted…Next question!
For relaxation, would you rather meditate, swim, walk, listen to music, write, read, yoga, qigong, or other?
Hey I think I just answered that question!
You’re given $500,000 dollars, what do you spend it on?
Kids college bills so that they can get to the mission field faster. I would give a tithe to the church and another tithe to missions agencies. Then I would set money aside for vacation/ missions trips for the rest of my natural life. Does anybody out there have 500,000.00 they would like to donate? I’m open. Yoo-hoo over here! 🙂
Did you like swinging as a child? Do you still get excited when you see a swing?
I loved to be pushed in the swing. I hated pumping. I also loved to wind the swing up until it was all twisted and then let it go so I would spin around really fast. I stopped swinging after my first jumping accident. I thought I would be cool like the other kids but I timed my jump wrong and didn’t land on my feet.
Well thanks Cee for giving me an opportunity to blather on a bit. I think I needed it!
Dear Reader, Please check out Cee’s other weekly contributors at http://www.ceephotography.com/2013/07/08/share-your-world-2013-week-22/
Haha, nice illustration.
You are hilarious. I can always count on you for a smile or two. I forgot about twisting the swings. That was fun. Thanks for sharing!!!
Glad I could give you a chuckle Cee.
I liked being pushed vs. pumping but don’t let me go too high. Jumping off the swing, let’s just say that did not agree with me but the twisting part was great fun! Great answers, Pastor J!
It seems we agree then!
I’m not going to lie, I totally still get excited when I see swings. And if there’s a little kid around, I always suggest that we swing together… You know, since they will have more fun if someone is swinging with them. 😉
I totally understand! If I wasn’t afraid of breaking a hip or something I would probably suggest it too.
Love your answers. I can’t resist a swing. Even at 77 I like to swing as high as I can – and I much prefer to swing myself, rather than be pushed. Being pushed takes the fun out of it. (I don’t jump off any more!)
Me neither!
