The house in the second pic is intriguing. While the lower front seems to “belong” the rest seems to be piece-meal, making one think various parts were added at various times. On a second look, I wonder if the top section is a different building behind.

Thanks Angela. In Holland those additions are called a “Good End Year”. In Dutch tradition if you have a very good year financially speaking you put the money into your house and build an addition. Houses are passed down generation to generation thus the different styles for the additions.
