This week’s travel theme is pathways. Here are some of my thought-scenes.
“A path is a prior interpretation of the best way to traverse a landscape.”
― Rebecca Solnit, Wanderlust: A History of Walking
“The Simple Path
Silence is Prayer
Prayer is Faith
Faith is Love
Love is Service
The Fruit of Service is Peace”
― Mother Teresa
“It is not we who seek the Way, but the Way which seeks us. That is why you are faithful to it, even while you stand waiting, so long as you are prepared, and act the moment you are confronted by its demands.”
― Dag Hammarskjöld, Markings
I really love the 2nd one–would love to visit there, if I were a travelin’ gal, which I’m not…
Soon we will be taking the trip of an eternal life time! I can’t wait for the rapture!
Can’t come soon enough for me….
Amen!
Re the first pic – I always think houses without eaves look funny. New residential areas in Sydney are built with no eaves – beautiful houses, but to me they look ‘unfinished’. Here in Queensland, we have wide eaves to give more shade to the house.
it is rather spartan isn’t it?
