This week’s Tadah! goes out to CEE’S PHOTOGRAPHY!
Since I started blogging three years ago I have had the opportunity to meet so many kind and talented people. I just love this blogging community and I really mean that. You folks have gotten me through some very difficult times with your healing words and your devotional thoughts. I have been convicted lately that I should be sharing some of you wonderful people and your works with the world. So today I share yet another Blog TADAH! That is a celebration of one blog and its author!
If you would like to celebrate one of your favorite blogs with the good citizen’s of Lillie-Put simply leave a comment at the bottom of the page with a link to their site. Lillie-Put has just a few Tadahing! rules for you to follow:
1. The King of Lillie-Put has outlawed all erotica and explicit material from the land. Comments leading our good citizens to nudist colonies will be deleted.
2. Please be sure to “Tadah!” someone other than yourself. To “Tadah!” oneself is just bad form!
3. Please “Tadah!” just one blog a week. After all, we want this to go on forever don’t we?
4. If you would like to do a whole write-up about your “Tadah!” please post that on your blog Using the title “Saturday Blog Tadah!” and link back to mine. I don’t have a badge but you’ re more than welcome to use my weekly silly picture or one of your own.
“I’m ready for my close up Mr. Demille!”
My blog “TADAH!” this week goes out to Cee Neuner of :
I was first introduced to Cee through her “Share Your World” posts. Cee explains the posts in this way:
I discovered Jesse Jaca’s blog and saw they had a Getting to Know Me page and I really enjoyed reading it. My first thought was to add something like this on my blog too. However, the more I thought about it, the more I hoped we could all have fun participating. In the past I’ve done this in newsletters for various companies and organizations. And it was everyone’s favorite part of the newsletter.
Since blogging is an international activity, I also thought this would be a great way for all of us to get to know each other. Share things about you, your home, your town, your country, your traditions. So once a week, I’ll post four new questions for you to answer about yourself or the area in the world you live.
I’m definitely a glass half type of person, so all the questions will be upbeat, non-political and hopefully fun for all.
I played the “Share Your World” game for about a year. As I read Cee’s work I found myself becoming more and more interested in her photography and in photography in general. Eventually I dared to try the Fun Foto Challenge she lays out weekly. Cee says:
I know there are a lot of various challenges for bloggers and I’m hoping that this one you will have some fun with as well as maybe learn a trick or two.
One way I learned about photography is by appreciating other people’s work and getting a chance to see through someone else’s eye for a brief moment in time. Challenges are a great way to see other people’s photography and sharpen my own photographic skills at the same time.
I am not a trained photographer. I love pictures, photos of any kind. I feel that the best way to learn photography is to always have a camera with you. One exercise that has always helped me is just sit in one place for 15 minutes. You can be sitting at your computer or you can go to your favorite place on earth. Then take as many photos of things you can see. Change your angle. If your camera has zoom capabilities zoom in and out. See what type of photos appeal to you. Once you find what appeals to you, then practice. The main thing is to always have fun. If taking the perfect photo seems intimidating, stop and give yourself a break. Put your camera away and try again later. The main object is to have FUN.
How It Works?
Each week I will have a specific theme. Please check my new Foto Gallery Page that feature just the photographs that I have used for these challenges.
To give you a heads up on what challenges are coming in the next few week, I’ll try and keep ahead a list topics for you. You can always check back on this page or on the currently week page to see what challenges are coming up.
From time to time I will share a tip on how to take a better photographs. Since I a self-trained photographer, I have come up with some useful tips that you may find helpful. Go through you photo archives and see what photos you have that fits the current week’s challenge, or better yet grab you camera and take a new photo!
Cee also writes on living with Lyme disease giving hope and strength to people struggling with chronic illness.
Thanks for all your hard work Cee!
