Weekly Photo Challenge: Lost In the Details

I guess I have never been much of a “detail” person. But this week’s challenge has certainly opened my eyes to a few things. As I looked through my photos for the small details  I began to notice that it was the small changes that make one picture more interesting than another: The texture of a pine cone, the froth in a cup of coffee, the twist of a vine.

I’ve learned a lesson it’s not just the devil that’s in the details but our better angels!

  1. I have never been much of a “detail” person myself and Sandy can testify to that. Thanks, Pastor J for sharing these photos for they are certainly full of details and of course, I will take a cup of coffee like that, to go please!!! lol

  2. Oh, I MUCH prefer that our angels are in the details, as you’ve written here!! God bless you, Pastor J–love, sis Caddo

  3. I love the multitude of details in the last one – especially the veins in the Caladiums, and the clarity of the whole picture, even beyond the windows. It is an outstanding photo.

I love it that God is vitally interested in EVERY detail of my life and His intent is to produce a masterpiece. He has a long way to go with me, but His Word assures me that one day I will be presented before Him FAULTLESS.

    What an incredibly amazing God!

    • It is true HE has a long way to go with all of us and yet we are already all that we shall be even though we are not yet all that we shall be. I love how God sees us both as we are so HE can keep workiing but judges us as we shall be by the completion of His grace.
