Foundations are very important. A house is only as strong as the rock cellar under it. A kingdom is only as strong as the establishment of its leader. Our chapters today tell us about Solomon’s first days as king.  Here we learn what things Solomon did to found a kingdom that would become legend.

Here’s what I see in today’s chapters:

I Kings chapter 2 sermon topics/ titles:

1. What You Must Do To Be a Man: I Kings 2: 1-4

2. Knowing Where the Bodies Lie: I Kings 2: 5-10

3 Remove The Three Rebellions: I Kings 2: 6-46

I Kings chapter 3 sermon topics/ titles:

1. Skirting the Law: I Kings: 3: 1-4

2.  The Golden Prayer: I Kings 3:  5-14

3. The Founding Decision: I Kings 3: 16-28

What do you see in these chapters? 🙂

  1. “The Golden Prayer” and “The Founding Decision” to ask, receive, and then apply His gifting. Lord, I pray that I will be led to follow this example when you call me to do so. Love these two, Pastor J.
